Congratulations to our Chamber orchestra students, they did an amazing UIL job! ALL 1s!

Hey stallions!
Our chamber orchestra students went to their UIL Concert and Sight-Reading contest yesterday, and they did an amazing job! They performed their 3 pieces beautifully, and then performed a piece of music they had never seen before in sight reading. The scores at UIL range from 1 – 5 and to get a 1, the students must perform near perfect. Well, these students did just that and earned 1’s on stage AND in sight-reading earning them a varsity sweepstakes! I have attached some pictures, and the links to their recordings in this email for your perusal. Please congratulate these students when you see them – they definitely earned it!
Our Philharmonic will be going to their non-varsity UIL on April 15th!
Thank you for all of your support of the orchestra program!!!
