The Polar Express festival returns this Saturday 12/7 from 3-6 PM. There is something for all ages including food trucks, vendors, carnival games, bouncy houses, and more. It is free to attend, and the entire GOHS feeder zone is invited.

Grand Oaks High School Theatre is competing at the Texas Thespian State Festival in Grapevine. The Improv Team reached the Quarterfinals of a crowded field, the farthest they have advanced at this event. Grizzlies are competing in a range of events. Let's GO

Calling all Grizzly students: There's a place on the FAN BUS for you to go see Volleyball play Allen HS at China Springs HS. The fee is $15 and the bus leaves at 1:45PM.
Let's GO! Congratulations to GOHS Volleyball for defeating TWHS on Friday and advancing to the State Semi Finals on Tuesday. GO will play Allen High School at 6:00 PM on Tuesday at China Springs High School.

GOHS Engineering Advanced students recently competed at NASA for the Design and Prototype Challenge called HUNCH. This was only round one. If they make it to finals (after round 2) their designs will actually make it to the ISS and open the door to sign a patent with NASA!
Special thanks to our PTO for providing a large donation to upgrade the sound system in our main gymnasium. Our students and staff are appreciative. This past week, the gym was "lit".
